Swim Groups

These groups use basic swim skills in an interactive and fun environment and are offerred at the Beaumont Health Center and West Bloomfield Family Aquatic Center.  The goal of these programs is to improve strength, range of motion, tolerance to sensory input, and as well as provide parents(s) and caregiver(s) fun summertime activities utilizing water as a therapeutic medium.  A physical therapist/assistant or an occupational therapist will be directing the groups with the help of volunteers. Parents may be required to accompany their children if adequate volunteers are not available.  Parents need to bring a swimsuit to each session should they be needed to participate. 

Program Requirements due by September 30

• Completion of Registration Form
• Completion of Prescription Form from a physician
