Certified Safe Sitter Babysitting Program

This program is for boys and girls ages 10 and older that are interested in babysitting or are responsible for younger siblings at home. It is an interactive class that includes lectures, role-play, group discussion and hands-on use of first aid equipment. Class content covers: basic growth and development, basic CPR and Heimlich maneuver practice, what to do in an emergency situation, choosing safe and age appropriate toys, and meal and snackpreparation. This program is a 2 session offering. Each session lasts 3 hours. Each participant receives a first aid starter kit and a Certified Safe Sitter card with course completion.

ENCARE - Choices for Life

This interactive educational program is designed to promote safe decision-making among teenage drivers. This program uses the power of personal stories, real life photographs, dialogue and group discussion to help teenagers make the healthier choice to avoid risky behaviors such as speeding, driving distracted, binge drinking, and drinking and driving.

This program is offered upon request by schools for middle school assemblies. Please call 248-551-0123 to arrange for this program.
