Beaumont offers comprehensive therapy programs for children, birth to 16. Our highly trained staff of professionals has a deep compassion for caring for children and their families. The team consists of over 50 experienced, licensed, certified or registered professionals who have been serving your community for over 30 years with leading-edge therapy. The therapists working with your child establish treatment goals with parents, offering families a chance to learn and participate more in therapy. Most of our families state they would recommend our services to their friends and family.
All members of the Center for Children's Rehabilitation team provide hands-on therapeutic intervention for any identified problem areas, home exercise programs, family and patient education, and assistance with any equipment needs. Our team consists of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers and case managers.
Physical therapists work with children with orthopedic, neurological and developmental delay diagnoses. The goal of occupational therapy is to help a child with functional limitations become as independent as possible.
Speech and language pathologists helpchildren with speech and language impairments learn to communicate. Our program offers a complete range of specialty care programs for children with speech and language disorders, hearing impairment and swallowing disorders, such as: developmental apraxia, traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, cleft palate, pragmatic disorders, stuttering, Down Syndrome, swallowing dysfunction and post cochlear implant. Our mission is to help children achieve their maximum communicative, functional and social potential.

The social worker can also provide one-on-one and family short-term counseling related to adjustment and coping issues.
