Pediatric Urology

Advanced fellowship training in pediatric urology prepares our physicians to work exclusively with infants, children and adolescents. Dr. Evan Kass, the department director, has consistently been named on the “Best Doctor in Detroit” and “Best Doctor in America” lists. Each year he and his colleagues perform approximately 1,200 surgeries at the family-centered, child-friendly Ghesquiere Family Center for Children’s Surgery. Minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures prevent unnecessary tissue disruption and help speed healing.
